Name-Vilinde Driiquar of Clan Mercea
Age-43
Sex-Female
Species-Echani
Home World- Unavailable, born in Imperial Space on one of the Clan Mercea gypsy fleet freighters.
Hair-White
Eyes-Silvery Steel

History-Vilinde was born and raised within the Echani gypsy convoy known as Clan Mercea, the Clan itself consists of many models and designations of ships, freighters, carrier transports, fighters, anything that would get them from point A to point B. Always carefree Vilinde spent the majority of her life training with the Clans Echani combat instructors, moving to the second Tier out of three within Echani martial standards, and as a young woman in a matriarchal warrior culture, this provided Vilinde with many opportunities. Yet, instead of choosing a lofty position within the Clans political structure, with each family having a representative voice in their council, she chose to explore the stars away from the Clan, as much of her own family was known for doing. Years passed, she gathered credits and sent them in mass transfers to Mercea for it's continued upkeep, she married another Echani she met during her travels and had five children with him. Life was good, and Vilinde introduced them to the Clan, letting her own children be raised by those who raised her while she and her husband went off to help the Clans failing financial situation.

After that however, her life took a turn for the worse, during the first Great War on Balmorra, Vilinde and her husband smuggled in supplies for the Empire, bringing in food and weapons to help their efforts in return for a good pay-day. The politics have never interested Clan Mercea, but whatever kept them going for another day in their generations long voyage was worth it, and yet even though they cared not for the Empire, nor the Republic, when the couple were downed and the Republics retrieval squads moved in, the two war-bred Echani defended them fiercely. In the end the Empire came to their rescue, recovered the supplies, and pulled them out, yet they did not arrive in time to save Vilinde's husband, and he died as any Echani would be proud to die, with a sword in his hand, a smile on his face, and the blood of his foes sinking into the ground. Her return to the Clan after her contract was over showed the dark side of Vilinde's personality as she pushed everyone away in an uncharacteristic depression, and when all five of her children wished to leave for Imperial Space on their own to join Imperial Intelligence, she let them go with her blessings. Only two years later she received the news that her middle daughter, Lethri, had graduated from ImpTel Academy, after receiving orders and personally butchering her siblings, and her only brother Talari surviving by but a thread, only to abandon the Clan on a blood vendetta.

After that she left the Clan again, unable to stay with the reminders and constant condolences, and returned to her former life, taking contracts for credits and supplying her Clan and family with a much needed income. And thus she does her best to forget what recent years have done to her, and hides behind her nearly trademark grin.

Personality-Despite her warrior upbringing Vilinde acts nothing like a hardened veteran, and yet whenever she is called to back up her words with action she always does her best to prove herself, and as as a 3rd Tier Echani martial artist able to stand toe to toe against many of her own Clans best warriors she is often able to deliver (That does not mean she fights fairly, honor is important to her, but after her years of experience outside of other Echani's influence Vilinde knows honor means nothing if you are dead.) It is extremely hard to insult her, and even when you try your best she will often bury any hostilities behind her lopsided grin. Yet, like any Echani raised in their races culture, any comparison to a Mandalorian will result in immediate ill-wishes, and she has been known to do whatever she can to cause Mando's trouble, even if they are outwardly friendly. And as such she goes out of her way to avoid any and all contact with anyone of Mandalorian descent, or who claims to be one by deed.

Psychological Profile of Vilinde Driiquar

Report: In my observations of the Echani Driiquar, i've come to few outstanding conclusions. At times her attitude hints at a bi-polar disorder, and yet in most cases there seems to be underlying reasons for the sudden mood changes, even to the extent that I believe it is quite possible she is very conscious about her attitude and mood swings, and may in fact purposefully change them.

From the few records that note her specifically she seems to drift into troubled areas, do her job, and leave, and yet from what she has said to me and to others it would appear as if that isn't quite as true as it would seem. She does have trouble keeping interest in most things, and is apparently well known for her wanderlust within what she has called her Clan, and yet when questioned about her former employers or comrades she was apparently able to list who was where, their own current employers, and a variety of information that shows she often remains in contact with these people, even going back to do, as she so eloquently stated, 'a bi' o' freelancin', eh?'

It should also be noted that she often remembers the exact wording on any deals she agrees to, and in our brief discussions managed to separate credits from my pouch through minor details that, in truth, I could not honestly refute. I found this attention to detail rather excessive, yet she has said it has served her well... Well, that is what I believe she said, I am not entirely sure.

For the end of the report i'd like to detail what I know of her personality, for it seems she suffers and hides from multiple social and mental disorders, some of which I believe to be agoraphobia, kleptomania, AD&D, and the aforementioned bi-polar disorder. I am unsure if she can be medically diagnosed with any of these disorders, but they are what I believe she may be suffering from.
