My thinking regarding alts
So recently, a lot of people have been adding their alts to the guild, which is fine, since it boosts our numbers and lets us have more characters in the mix. However, here's my thinking, as well as my reasoning as to why we should limit our alts within the guild:
The way Theta is currently rearranging itself is as a squad-based military company. Since your alts will be different classes, they'd be put in different roles, and probably within different squads. Now, when a big guild RP event comes along, which character are you going to play? And then, will one of your other squads be understaffed when you play that character?
There's nothing wrong with wanting to RP with another character, but, because of the way Theta's structured, we may need to cut down on it so that the company can stay together during a big RP event. Again, I'm just stating my opinion, but I wanted to get this out there for consideration.

Re: My thinking regarding alts
I agree to an extent. I probably won't be making an alt anytime soon. That's mostly because I can't always be on frequently (until summer...get here soon), partially because Too-Dee is commander, and for the reasons that Esk brings up.
However, I don't want anyone to feel like they can't bring in alts. The biggest thing is that they need to fit RP-wise and I also think that if you get offered and accept an officer position, you will probably need to focus on that character in most Company RP events and operations. If it's just a meeting or cantina RP, no biggie, but if you're leading a team or more, then you need to be on as that alt.
