Serial Number: Two-Delta
Manufacturer: Gree Enclave
Model Appearance: Human
Primary Programming: Combat
Secondary Programming: Combat medicine, military tactics, Republic military protocol and procedure
Primary Objective: Serve the Republic military
Secondary Objective: Gather social/cultural information on the species of the Republic

Manufacturing History: Due to their physiological restrictions and advances in technology, the Gree have always relied on the use of combat droids for protection. Realizing that a major conflict between the Republic and the Sith Empire was inevitable, the Gree decided to put significant effort into creating a superior model of android in case their long stance of neutrality was threatened. By creating an android that could easily assimilate into the service of the Republic or the Empire, the Gree believed that they would make themselves invaluable to whichever side prevailed.

Performance History:
Primary Objective: Two-Delta was the first prototype to receive field trials. In order to make his assimilation easier, the Gree chose to make his appearance human in nature. The Gree decided to provide their first model to the Republic due to their working relationship on the infrastructure of Coruscant. The Republic was highly interested in seeing the capabilities of these androids and accepted Two-Delta into their ranks. His advantages of already having military programming, superior strength and speed, no feelings of pain or fatigue, and efficiency in carrying out orders led to his quick promotion to the rank of sergeant. Within a small amount of time he was accepted into Havoc Squad and was later offered a position in the elite Theta Company, where his inhuman efficiency quickly led to his promotion through the ranks.

Secondary Objective: The only downside of this prototype is his lack of knowledge on social protocols. Due to their isolation, the Gree were not able to program Two-Delta with Basic language patterns or information on the social/cultural customs of common species in the Republic. However, Two-Delta is able to adapt his behavior as he is exposed to new events. As Two-Delta collects more knowledge on these customs, they will be incorporated into newer prototypes to allow the androids to achieve assimilation in their duties more easily.

Psychological Profile of Two-Delta

Report: It is hard for me to read Commander Two-Delta, as he is an android.  However, even though he lacks the ability to process emotions, it is clear that his attempt to gain knowledge and understanding of the culture, language, and customs of the biological races of the Republic has impacted his original programming.

For example, when talking about the soldiers in his unit, it is clear that Two-Delta views them as more than just pawns in the service of the military.  His regard for them is more than simply thinking of them as tools to achieve his objectives.

However, his lack of emotions can lead to him approaching situations from a practical perspective.  Although he cares about his troops and their well-being, he still makes decisions based on what is practical, which could lead to the sacrifice of his own troops or civilians in order to achieve his objectives.  This can also lead to him being ruthless in dispatching enemy forces, since he considers the elimination of potential threats being the rational choice over showing mercy.

On a personal level, it is interesting how Two-Delta appears to be developing a personality despite his lack of emotions.  All traces of his Gree language difficulties have been overcome, but when it comes to social connections, it appears that Two-Delta is almost developing what I would describe as the android equivalent of longing to fit in.  He recently downloaded bartender droid programs in order to connect with this troops because he deducted that they were avoiding social interaction with him due to a combination of intimidation of his rank, his lack of alcohol consumption, and his social awkwardness.  He also has expressed a longing for a nickname in these informal situations, hoping that his troops would refer to his as Too-Dee.

It will be interesting to see how his personality continues to develop as he interacts more and more with biological and emotional beings.
